The Studio

We are a vibrant and friendly dance studio nestled in the picturesque landscape of British Columbia. Centrally located in the City of Penticton, we have spacious and well-equipped dance studios that provide the ideal setting for learning and growth.

Family owned, we understand and appreciate the balance of making it all happen for our kids!  In our studios, we believe the experience of being a part of a dance family is something that lasts a lifetime and we want dance to be an enjoyable and accessible part of your family's life.

We take pride in offering a fun, supportive environment with an affordable family pricing plan.  There are never any registration fees and we keep our class sizes manageable so your dancer doesn't get lost in the crowd.  We are committed to offering an optimal environment where your dancer can flourish.

Each studio has large viewing rooms and windows where parents are invited to stay and watch their child's progress or simple take a load off and relax after a long day.  (Even for our daytime classes, we get that the day can already feel long by the time you arrive for class at 9:30 am and that is quite alright!  We don't mind if you take a seat and reset while our teachers take over for a while.)

We invite you to join us and watch your child's confidence soar as they develop coordination, musicality, and a lifelong appreciation for the art of dance. We can't wait to welcome you into our dance family!

The Owner

Our new owner, Sarah Towns, has a wealth of dance training and  experience which was sparked at the age of 5 years old.  Her dance journey has taken her around the world, following dreams, inspiring students, and creating memories and relationships that persist today.  Dance is something that lives deep within her and she is grateful to be able to now share her passion and experience with the dancers and families at Even Dance.  With some previous experience of studio ownership, Sarah is overjoyed to be back in the studio.

Embarking on this journey with her are Sarah's four children, who you can often find at the studio with her.  She is so happy to take a step back from another demanding (and waaaayyyy less fulfilling) career and focus more on her family.  Outside of the studio, you will find her and her kids outdoors (at the beach, skatepark, on a trail in the woods...), watching movies, playing games, and venturing out in the community finding whatever adventures there are to find.

As a mom, Sarah understands the beauty and challenge of raising a family in today's modern world.  As a studio owner, Sarah, along with her amazing and talented team of teachers, hopes to continue to cultivate this dance community where dancers and their families feel welcomed, supported, inspired, and ignited with our same lifelong passion for dance.
